The first one...sounds like a Sing Sing Sing, but with a very different riff to it.

(Also, this is Nick Pitera's project...don't know who this is? Listen to this clip--the guy is singing BOTH parts..quite entertaining!)

doesn't have the "christopher columbus" riffs of the goodman "sing^3". reminds me a little of "flyin' home", actually.

sounds like a modern band.

Hmm...

It just sounds like someone's recent commercial take on Swing era riffs and sounds...so does the Glenn Miller snippet that follows it soon after.

Why not ask the film maker?

I did. Alas, being a Youtube superstar probably means having a very strong spam filter...

It just sounds like stuff you would buy or lease from a music library to use in your film.

I have seen any number of cheap documentaries where they use a rearranged version of different big Swing era tunes and have written some of the melody backwards so that it still sounds like what it is supposed to be.

There's a version of Glenn Miller's "My Blue Heaven" that's been all twisted around in the arrangement. Very odd.
