Hi all,
I'm looking for a song that been popping up recently in the San Francisco swing scene (but unfortunately, I can't remember who was DJing).

Its got a kind of a latin beat. There are some low volume vocals throughout the ong, but they are pretty hard to make up; the most intelligble line is from the chorus and its something like "whats up" or "its up."

Anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

Have no idea really but Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia) by Us3 comes to mind.

Nope, not flip fantasia. The song I'm after has got a real latin beat, so that it's probably appropriate for salsa or hustle, but works well with lindy.

You should record yourself trying to sing it and post it somewhere for us to hear
