*OPEN* anyone identify this version of Fever?

can anyone tell me who does
this version of Fever? I have a slightly different version I purchased online that Peggy Lee but the voice in this one doesn't sound quite like her. The filename said pussycat dolls but I don't think that's correct even though I read somewhere they did it in their early days. If anyone knows for sure who does it or what album it's from I'd really appreciate it. The Peggy Lee one I have is 3:20 and this is 3:37.

Fever (1956 song)
"Fever" is a song credited to Eddie Cooley and John Davenport (a pseudonym for Otis Blackwell).
It was published in 1956 and originally recorded by Little Willie John as an early Rock'n'Roll song; a more popular cover version was recorded by Peggy Lee in 1958.

Knowing the kind of music The Cramps play I would vote that he best version of this song without even having to listen to it.

I have no idea what version that is, but you should definitely get the version by Dick Dale

The header info of the mp3 file indicates it's track 5 wherever it came from.

It sure sounds like Peggy Lee to me.
My Peggy Lee version comes from "THe Best of Peggy Lee, The Capitol Years" and it's very similar, even down to the bongos.

It is similar in style, but the production sounds as though it's from the last 20 years or so.
