the vocalist on "Down Home Blues" is Nikki Harris, not Ernestine Anderson. Seems like the Harrises are a talented bunch.

And yes, I love that track too.

This one is fun: "Incoherent Blues" on the Oscar Peterson/Clark Terry CD. It's a slow blues with Mr. Mumbles.

Also: S&J Blues, the last track of Oscar Peterson/Count Basie "'Satch' and 'Josh'" CD (volume 1), is great both as a bathroom break song and a greasy blues dance

The album being referred to is Ernestine Anderson's When The Sun Goes Down, with Gene Harris and Ray Brown. The Nikki Harris version is on Down Home Blues, with Gene Harris and Jack McDuff.
