You know, I heard that Nelly song this morning (the one with the chick singin' about her "boo"), and I thought of you. You will forever be associated with Nelly in my mind. How do ya feel 'bout that now?

Going totally off topic.coreyj5 wrote:There's a bunch of awesome hip hop tracks on "Handsome Boy Modeling School". A couple are pretty danceable. Sometimes I'll play Run On by Moby too. A lot of people around here dig it.
Was watching an 80's thing on VH1 last night (dont' ask why), and they were discussing cabbage patch dolls with Henry Rollins (it's true!)... he made the comment that Moby should be getting back royalties, cuz they based a doll off him.
...
Well... it cracked me up.

I don't know why, but for some reason "Do For Love" off of Tupac's "R U Still Down" makes me wanna get down in a lindy-type fashion.
Of course, if it hasn't been played in awhile, "Plenty" by Erykah Badu and Guru is a Hip Hop Lindy standard (that just sounds funny). Be warned though - that bridge was burned by many a dj 2 years back.

Wycleff have a great remix of his "Gone till November" that I've used and I'd like to try out some of Floetry's stuff off their debut album "Floetic".

Burned, shot, bombed, incinerated, and its askes spread over the far North Artic. To be fair, though, I was sick of that song the second time I heard it. Why it becamse such a huge hit, especially when there is so much PHENOMENAL Hip Hop out there, I will NEVER understand.morte100 wrote:Of course, if it hasn't been played in awhile, "Plenty" by Erykah Badu and Guru is a Hip Hop Lindy standard (that just sounds funny).
