Correct. I will bring as many copies as my luggage allows (10 sounds about right).

I'm probably buying 20 or so to sell at home and when I travel. It's not a money thing, it's more about getting the music out there.

I played Blue Mance during the Saturday afternoon dance at SOFLEX last weekend to good effect. The floor was filled with dancers, as apposed to a hot jazz Charleston number I played (Dippermouth Blues), which did not do so well. That kinda surprised me. Now that I think of it, I saw very little charleston going on all weekend. It makes me wonder if Charleston dancing is waning in the Lindy Hop community, or if it was just that particular group of dancers.

It's not waning in the
Lindy Hop community. hee hee ::ducks::
Seriously though, it's just that particular group of dancers. Dippermouth Blues at an event like Showdown or Rhythm Arts Fest would have had the floor full, even at late night. Also, Dippermouth Blues and Sugarfoot Stomp are essentially the same song, the latter being the theme and name of our venue out here on Monday nights, which has been well supported since we opened.

I certainly haven't seen charleston dropping off here.

Nice job, I really liked 11 of the 13 songs. At first I was not in a real rush to get this CD. I picked it up after I heard a few of the songs being played at various times through the SoFlex weekend. And I thought they were really interesting.

I picked up the CD at SoFlex. Lovin' it and will definitely spin from it. Kudos to all involved.

Chiaroscuro is offering a great deal:
all thirteen CDs featured on "For Dancers Only" for only $99!
That's a savings of $85 and some change. Not too shabby!

Any chance we could get them to cut us a deal on the rest of their catalogue?
