Swedish songs for haraang

so i was listening to my YahooRadio today, and this awesomely horrible song comes on called The Hut-Sut Song (A Swedish Serenade) By Freddy Martin.

One, its pretty funny, and two, I can't tell if the chorus is in swedish or not, kinda sounds like it.

I think it would be kinda funny to play for a them night or in Haraang in general.

What other songs could you add to this one to make a complete "Around the world in 80 days" theme night?

I picked up a used CD by a WWII era Swedish Swing Band called "Swedish Hot Seven". The CD has a few interesting danceable songs. This bands is all made out of strings (guitar, bass). They sound very much like Cats in the Fiddle.

You should get if you can find it.

Actually in thinking, Stan Kenton did an entire 2 LP set of National Anthems of the Worlds in 1972.

Granted probably nothing in the set would be worthwhile for swing dancing!!! But you could get some very obscure places. There are 39 different tracks in the set. This is for 38 different countries.

They did 2 songs for the U.S.A. A medley of american folk related music and then a seperate track for the national anthem.
