I think that the above link is wrong. Is it supposed to point to an eMusic list of songs?

[edit] Or maybe, his compilations are not available on eMusic USA. Did he make them from his 78 collection?[/edit]
It points to a bunch of search results - but they're quite likely not availble in the US (I say this because they're on amazon.co.uk, but not on amazon.com)

Some direct links for you - you should at least be able to see the tracklists from this:
Balboa Swing, Vol. 1
Balboa Swing, Vol. 2
Balboa Swing, Vol. 3
Balboa Swing, Vol. 4

Swing for Dancers - Medium Tempo

There are two great CDs from Vocal Group The Smoothies on eMusic. Music by them has always been hard to find. I think the recordings are from around 1940. There are lovely versions of Easy Does It, Let's Do It, Show Your Linen Miss Richardson and Love Grows on the White Oak Tree.

Easy Does It Part 1

Easy Does It Part 2

There's some cool old country swing on this album, recommended by Morgan Day on Hey Mr Jesse No 71 (November 2011) - Roy Lanham and the Whiporwills

As well as Tabby Cat (recommended by Morgan), I particularly like Why Can’t That Someone Be Me, Meanest Kind Of Blues and Dimples And Cherry Cheeks

How is the sound quality of these reissues? emusic USA only offers the Charlie Parker album.

Now there are a total of 36 albums available in the Neatwork series of alternative takes in chronological order - wonderful!

Quality-wise, they are a mixed bag. From very poor to very good.

(I've now quit Emusic after close to ten years, so I will not post more in this topic.)

What made you decide to quit, Anton?

Two main reasons: I couldn't keep up with the monthly downloads (75 songs/month) and I became fed up with the useless search function.

Try 90...
One of their support guys did tell me a new search was on its way... but I'm not holding my breath.

I've recently been stalked by the emusic people twitter - public messages and DMs asking me what my specific problems with their site are. Because they want to help me. I don't have the patience to explain why their new site is so slow to load and annoying to navigate. Someone needs to tell them that simpler is better, and that the content really is the thing.

I've given it a go... but have you ever had that feeling that the person you're talking to agrees fully with everything you say, but isn't allowed to say so (and has heard everything you've said a million times over from a million other customers)

It was a little like that.
On the other hand, I'm persevering a little longer. There's still a lot of great music to be had from them. If I can find it...

I like the new screen design, and haven't had problems with speed on computers I use. Particularly good is the new audio player - I sometimes have it on in the background listening to whole albums at a time. But eMusic's still near-impossible to navigate unfortunately.

Logged to today to see the headline:

"What is eMusic?
A discovery-and-download destination for music enthusiasts"

Which reminded me of an estate agents advert for a flat situated a long way from the nearest station. It said "Ideal for the fitness enthusiast"

Anyway, having some time to expore and listen, I chanced upon this brilliant album. Most of it probably isn't 'lindy-able', but it's fantastic stuff all the same, and decent sound quality. As far as I can see, it's a collection of songs from British Dance Bands, which gives a flavour of the British dance scene at that time ==>
