eMusic Song/Album recomendations

Not sure if anybody has noticed this before, I have numerous album lists saved on eMusic.

I have been working on it for awhile. When the Def Black and Blue titles showed up a few months back, I got inspired, found all sorts of albums that I had missed over the past few years and added them. The lists have grown much larger than I ever anticipated.
Pretty much, the albums are culled from my own personal discovery, Yehoodi radio and talk shows, threads on this Board, Yehoodi threads, threads on other boards, you name it.
The list has my name on it, but it is really a collection of over 60 different DJ's recommendations. My apologies if you feel like I stole an album idea from you and did not give you credit. I probably did. At this point, I can't remember where I first about some of these albums.
I am currently working on the fourth list (there are 100 album limits). Please forgive the lack of details in my comments, you can see where I am going with them, but they are far from complete. One day, it would be cool to have a list of the dancer friendly songs on each album with BPMs and comments. That might be a long ways off though.
My hope is that music is purchased and shared with a greater audience, online music stores are getting to be pretty vast these days, I can only hope that the filter I built helps a few people.

They just added a bunch of great albums from French labels EPM and Frémeaux & Associés over at eMusic Europe.
I guess it's stuff most of you guys already have in your stash, like Lester Young, Fats Waller, Django Reinhardt etc, but there's gotta be a track here and there that you've never come across before, at least that's what happened to me.

Thanks for that and I've found the new stuff from EPM which looks good. But how did you actually find out that this new stuff was there? It didn't show up on my YOUR NEW ARRIVALS or NEW AND NOTEWORTHY sections.
Well, I think Nathan and I check the new stuff out the same way
Come to think of it, can there many other ways?
I tend to click on "View All Albums" in the Jazz section, and then sort by "Most Recent Additions". Doing that once a week or so makes sure I don't have to wade through more than 5 to 10 pages of new additions until I hit the albums I listened to the last time around.

It took awhile, but more Def Black and Blue Sessions have been added, I have not downloaded them yet...

This is kind of funny (haven't seen it before):

A single track by Mora's Swingtet in different tempos. Unfortunately, they are not separate recordings but slowed down (the quality suffers on the slower tempos)

Another funny thing - the tracks denoted 176 BPM are only 168 BPM. Go figure.anton wrote:This is kind of funny (haven't seen it before):

Perfect Shim Sham tempo though.
