The Phantom Dancer now starts at a new time - Tuesdays, 12 noon AEST -which is 2am GST. This week's show kicks off with Chinese swing singer Bai Hung recorded in Shanghai in 1947. You'll also hear 1930s-50s radio broadcasts by Tommy Dorsey, Glenn Miller, Freddy Martin, Bob Crosby & more. We hear Frank Coughlan's Sydney Trocadero Orchestra from 1937. And we go all folksy as Susan Reed plays her zither, irish harp and an unidentified instrument she found in a second-hand shop she calls an "Ever-Lovin'' while selling US Savings Bonds on a Guest Star program from New York in 1947.
