Big Mabel / Ann Margret

I was in a bookstore the other day and heard some really good music from someone called "Big Mabel". Can anyone here recommend some specific titles ?

Also, on the Biography channel, I saw a special on Ann Margret. I heard some of the songs she did earlier in her carreer and she could swing. Anyone here know if she ever recorded some of her songs that swing ?

Actually, you're talking about Big Maybelle. She originally sang Elvis' "Hound Dog" and has a lot of awesome music out there. Alot of blues. Ann-Margaret has also a lot of music on cd, much of it dancable.

You may be thinking of Big Mama Thornton (Willie Mae Thornton, 1926-1984).
