I really thing these guys were such a good band. They are one of the few non-US bands that are up on a par with some of the best of the US bands.

After Awhile - Jack Teagarden,"King Of The Blues Trombone"
Mis'ry And The Blues - Jack Teagarden,"Quadromania - Jack Teagarden"
That's What I Like About You - Jack Teagarden with Fats Waller,"King Of The Blues Trombone"
I'm An Old Cowhand - Jack Teagarden,"King Of The Blues Trombone"

How is this album? I don't think I have ever heard this song before, it sounds like it would be awesome.

I've been listening to Joe Daniels and His Hot Shots. The "Swign is the Thing" Album to be exact. It's pretty much pure gold.

Highlights are:
It Don't Mean A Thing
Whirlwind
Darktown Strutters Ball
Down Beat
Jammin' Sessions

Plus it has the song that they use in industrial scenes in old cartoons, "Powerhouse"

I've been liking the album, I have that and the Quadromania Teagarden collection which i'm also enjoying.

I'll add another one of my favorite teagarden songs from that set for good measure "A Song Was Born"

Just listed to this on my collection - nice 8)

A lot of Fats Waller music is great, but doesn't his 'singing' put you off sometimes?
