Amazing! The equivalent in the print world would be like a two-volume book with illustrations and dozens of CDs included. I've only begun to delve into the resources here...
Any others?

Could not agree any more. Fantastic site.
Only thing is that most of the recordings are pre 1930.

I found this on the University of Washington's site. It's a free online course that's based on their History of Jazz course. It's not as complete as the course, but it's still great for some information, I'm going to actually read up on everything that's there tomorrow.
