"Christmas Time in New Orleans"
"Zat You Santa Claus?" - Louis Armstrong

I found a great video clip where Ondřej Havelka and His Melody Makers plays "Jingle Bells". Lots of fun!

Take a look at:

It's that time of the year again. :)

Here is a selection of 18 Western Swing tunes related to Christmas and/or to winter, recorded by artists such as Cliff Bruner, Bob Wills and Bill Boyd. My favorite is "Snow Flakes" by Cliff Bruner. Quality is not great, but the songs are free.

Cheers,
Lorenzo

I've just done some Christmas DJing where I just plain forgot about christmasy songs. I played 'party like it's 1999' songs.

I would've said yes, but I just forgot that there were actually christmassy songs in the world.

Time to dredge this old thread up to remind myself of cheesy Christmas songs to DJ. Any more suggestions?

Haha - that'd be me! Although I played Boogie Woogie Santa Claus by Lionel Hampton last night and it went down a treat.

Thanks for posting the list - we have Spotify in Australia now so I'll be keen to check out all the good stuff.

One year ago, we published the article "25 Great Christmas Swing Songs" on Swing DJ Resources.

It became popular again this year.

Included in the article is a link to a collaborative playlist on Spotify.
Feel free to add your favorite Christmas songs to it.
