Either way, that would be great. I’m sure many swing fans would love to hear Peter spin some of his favorites as always.
But that is the future, and now we have a fantastic show put together by another fantastic DJ, Nando.

There was a world lindy hop dj competition? Who was in the competition, when was it, who judges, and who puts it on? Is it held every year? Is this part of that World Lindy Hop Championship that we get email about?

Yes, the 2005 event was at my house last night. I was declared the winner when no one else showed up. I've already done a Yehoodi Radio show and have no plans to do another... hence, there shall be no Yehoodi Radio shows from a reigning World Lindy Hop DJ for quite some time unless someone is able to dethrone me next year.

PS: I also crowned myself the 2005 World Lindy Hop Champion last night as well. I shall update my "resume" shortly.

Can I declare myself Galactic champion? Someone else can take the Universe, I'm not *that* full of myself. ;)

November Thursday Guest DJ: Brenda Starr (Seattle, Washington)

Brenda Starr from Seattle is our November guest DJ on Yehoodi Radio. Here’s a little about Brenda:

"DJ Brenda Starr is a house DJ at the Century Ballroom in Seattle and spins regularly around the Pacific NW. Last year marked her international DJ debut at Herrang. Brenda loves Louis Armstrong, Sidney Bechet, Wynton Marsalis and Ernestine Anderson equally although for this show she especially loves Jack Teagarden. Seattle is a great place to be a swing dj because of the variety of music the dancers enjoy; this show reflects the versatality of the Seattle dancers. Brenda is excited to be making her radio debut on Yehoodi!"

Enjoy! :)

Jesse
