OKeh Rhythm & Blues Story 1949-1957

I recently purchased a copy of "The OKeh Rhythm & Blues Story 1949-1957", it was recommended by several DJs on this board. It was mentioned as a great source for jump blues tunes.

I found several songs that I want test with the local dancers over the next few weeks. I was curious what other tunes have worked for other DJs on this list.

Locally, "Poontang" by the Treniers has been a staple of at least one Austin DJ's sets for awhile.

I played "Stuttering Blues" at Buffalo Billiards years ago. Sadly, most of the collection is too far into rock 'n' roll to suit me and some of the jump pieces start off great, but wander off later.

As a listening piece, the collection is superb.
