Hi there !
I hope this topic has not been open yet.
Can we list here the websites where we can search for precise discographic informations like the date, place, studio, label of record of a tune. Or the musicians who participated and so on !
Let me start with the ones I use :
- Sometimes the label websites give some information. Mosaic Records for instance.
- http://aln3.albumlinernotes.com/ (good idea but too poor).
- rutracker and other music bittorrent trackers (you can find booklets there. It is from an illegal/not fair biais but let say that for information, it is ok).
Share your tools guys !

Sometimes this free site is useful:
http://www.redhotjazz.com/
But, really, what you need is this:
CD-ROM or website:
Tom Lord's "The Jazz Discography" (https://www.lordisco.com/)
CD-ROM:
Walter Bruyninckx's discography (http://www.worldcat.org/title/93-years- ... /660149351)
Book:
Brian Rust's "Jazz Records"
