Anyone Heard of Billie Rogers? - Female, trumpeter, vocalist

She was with Woody Herman's band during WW2.

She just died earlier this year.

She likely had some great stories.

She played good horn and sang nicely and had her own big band, too.

I've seen some actual 16" transcriptions of her band, but I don't see them on YT.
