Charlie Barnet's Penultimate Recording Session - 1967
Not his final session, I am now told, which seems to be a real gagger for Reader's Digest in which he plays 60s pop tunes.
This is good stuff!
I like "Boomerang" and "Introduction to an Ending" the most.
It's not a '40s sounding band' - more like 50s, but solida big band swing - very unlike the gruesome 60s.
I had this LP, but I do not remember these fine tracks! Superior!!
