This is a fascinating film - comedy/drama - depicting life/times/fun at a huge English holiday camp in the late 1940s. I had heard the term "holiday camp" before, but didn't know quite what it was. This film explains much.
In any event, there are 2 or 3 ballroom sequences in the film and this one is one of them:

The place is packed. The live big band is playing "Woodchopper's Ball". The dance floor is filled with dancers of all kinds including a young couple doing some jitterbugging.
It's an entertaining film.
Some comment from our British members would be fun to read.
