1930's swing music remixes for the runway

#1 Post by caab » Sat Oct 19, 2013 11:54 am

I've been asked to suggest remixes of 1930's music for a fashion show - something with a modern beat that the models can walk to, but with 1930's tunes in the mix. This is so not my forte, so any suggestions you have for songs and artists to check out would be most welcome.

Thanks!

As far as Electroswing artists go I like Caravan Palace and Caro Emerald - but from your description it sounds like they're looking for more the remixed stuff.

There's a few decent electroswing compilations out there "Swing Party" and "White Mink, Black Cotton" are two. That could help as a starting point.
