Greetings All

For those swing DJs who like to travel and who like to buy their music in hard copy, I've put together a google map of jazz music specialty stores or stores that stock a large range of jazz music on CD and/or vinyl.

If anyone has any additions please let me know. I'd rather avoid adding chain stores, unless they have a particularly good selection.

Tower Records in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan has a whole section of CDs of Early Jazz & Swing.

Mainly Jazz Records & Books, St Kilda Australia has a huge selection of jazz vinyl. It's not very well sorted and the store is only open on a few days, but it's the best I know of in Australia.

Paris Jazz Corner, 5 Rue de Navarre, 75005 Paris, France was good when I went there in 2006, but I can't vouch for it now.

Hey penguin, a good addition would be a date of last visit, or date of last confirmation that the store still existed and had a good selection of jazz. (It's always good to call ahead, of course, but a date would still be nice.)
