Aside from Duke, Count and Hamp, HJ is the only Swing era big band I can ever remember playing the NJF.
James tailors his program for Jazz fans and doesn't play any of his ballads hits in full. There's a medley near the end, but I have not gotten to it yet. And he is in good shape as is the band.
The female vocalist is unimpressive.
This Wolfgang's Vault has much stuff on it.
