Just in case you missed me discussing it on the podcast back in May 2010, you can listen to the news item on Episode 53.

In brief: the recordings are really interesting (and humorous) from an historical perspective. There is a lot of surface noise on the recordings, so they will probably not get a lot of airtime DJed for the dancefloor. The CD is not cheap - I think I paid about $25 after shipping - but you hardcore collectors can order it here. And here is a link to an indepth review on the Jazz Lives blog.
