Looks good - but no audio samples?

Just in case you missed me discussing it on the podcast back in May 2010, you can listen to the news item on Episode 53.

In brief: the recordings are really interesting (and humorous) from an historical perspective. There is a lot of surface noise on the recordings, so they will probably not get a lot of airtime DJed for the dancefloor. The CD is not cheap - I think I paid about $25 after shipping - but you hardcore collectors can order it here. And here is a link to an indepth review on the Jazz Lives blog.
