Charlie Barnet: Tulip or Turnip?

#1 Post by trev » Thu Jan 27, 2011 4:05 am

A friend of mine with a big band has got hold of a bunch of old Charlie Barnet charts, and is trying to track down the recordings. Can anyone point me in the direction of Charlie Barnet playing Tulip or Turnip? He thinks it's from the late 40s. I don't have access to the Rust/Lord databases.

Charlie Barnet ~ Town Hall Jazz Concert LP
Columbia CL 639

That's a good LP. It is where the live version of SKYLINER is from.
