Out of tune swing

Just for fun:

Some big band leaders obviously did not care if their orchestras were in tune. Some examples - all songs that I like, but sooo out of tune:

George E. Lee and His Orchestra - Paseo Strut [1929]. This must be the most out of tune tune ever recorded. When you think it can't get any worse, the saxophone enters at 0:33...

Eddie Durham and His Band - Moten's Swing [1940]. The orchestra is somewhat in tune, but Durham's guitar is off by about a semi-tone.

Boots and His Buddies - Coquette [1936]. Check out the lead trumpet.

Claude Hopkins and His Orchestra - King Porter Stomp [1934]. Very snappy, but way out of tune. One of the saxophones is the main crook here I think.

What out of tune favorites do you have?

There's one female artist (who's name escapes me at the moment... Carmen McRae?) who has a characteristic off key voice that drives me mad. Then again, I have a crazy sensitive ear and can tell when individual instruments in the symphony are out of tune.
