Though I've been a big fan of washboards as an instrument for a while, I recently picked up this CD, as well as "1925-1937" by Willie "The Lion" Smith, and have become an even bigger washboard fan.
The music on the former CD basically epitomizes my taste in music, especially "Pepper Steak."
So what do you all think of washboards?

"In my opinion, out of the ten great guitarists in the world, Django is five of them!" - Rex Stewart
The only exposure I have to washboards is the Dream Team band at the Lindy Binge. I thought it was awesome. The samples available for that CD seem cool.

It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
