Hi, I deejay in South Florida and I'm brand new to this forum. There's a clip of Dean Collins dancing to an unpublished Mel Torme song from the 1946 film Let's Go Steady. So far as I can tell, the song's title is "The Baby Boogie." It swings, and I'd like to get a copy. Does anybody know if this song is available commercially? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Here's the Youtube clip:

Thanks for the help.
Where to get song from 1946 film "Let's Go Steady"

Many songs from movies weren't released on record, or if they were, it could be quite a different version. And of course, many songs that were released on record have never been transferred to cd.
Too bad you don't get to see Mel Tormé dance in the clip. He used to be the California lindy hop champion, or so says Billie Holiday in Lady Sings the Blues. I wonder if he ever danced on film. Probably not.
