Haydn -
Does Lord's list broadcast material?
Does it show a Chick Webb broadcast from 5-29-1938?
Thanks.

Yes it lists broadcasts. It doesn't list a Chick Webb broadcast for 29th May 1938, but it does list this one for "c.1938" -
Chick Webb And His Orchestra
Broadcast, New York, c. 1938

Have a good night folks !

Deep in a dream (ef vcl)

(There are also several other late 1930s broadcasts listed)

So the one listed above isn't the right one?

I don't know. If it only says circa 1938, I can't tell if it is 5-29-38. I don't know what was played on that broadcast.
"Wanton rhythm man" - that doesn't sound right!
