There are a few interesting comparisons on there, but mostly bizarre comparisons. What is the intention of this website?

fred astaire vs. bob wilber tuxedo orchestra playing fletcher henderson

django vs. big band

louis armstrong vs Manhattan transfer

I'm not sure if they're trying to make a statement or to confuse people. Perhaps if I read french I could find some words of intent on there.

most of the contemporary examples dont have much relation at all to the classic example they are joined with. And I can think of better examples of contemporary recordings to showcase than the ones they chose.

I just don't get it I guess. still, there are some albums on there I haven't heard, so I suppose its worth browsing if nothing else.

According to google translator:
Swing Time
Swing music is it timeless?
It seems that the "swing time" is the present time because we are now witnessing a revival of Swing Jazz. The recovery of pieces of the "Swing Era" by Swing Orchestras today is a proof of this renewal .
So far are 67 albums and 134 titles presented
It seems like they are presenting both old and new versions of selected songs.
