the two that I remember that I knew were the New Orleans Jazz Vipers version of "Evening", which I think is a fabulous song, and Wynton Marsalis' "Dead Man's Blues" from Mr. Jelly Lord.Eyeball wrote:So if he didn't play Swing, what did he play?djstarr wrote:
And we had a DJ battle a month or so ago, Falty won, playing nothing but music recorded after 1980. And it all swung hard. So it doesn't have to be from the 30's or 40's to swing.
He played some other New Orleans musicians who I didn't know, but I really liked the music.
