Late last night "Sex and the Single Girl" came on; a movie from the 60's that Neil Hefti wrote the music for. The opening credits said the movie featured Count Basie and his orchestra, although I had to go to bed before they came on. I did watch about 20 min. of the film, enough to confirm that the New Testament sound was fully present.

I was unaware that Neil Hefti composed both the Batman theme and the Odd Couple theme. Groovy!
