The Thai king wrote this piece. Fascinating and very derivative of classic Swing era charts.

A few. There are a few other clips on youtube of others playing his compositions. A very talented man. I can definitely hear the influence of Benny Carter in the compositions.
It'd be cool to hear more of his playing.

Ya - but the one I linked to is Goodman and a big band playing King.
It's good from the beginning where the King use the trumpet intro from BG's 1936 GOODNIGHT, MY LOVE. He has some Shaw stuff in there, too.
The ending uses the Miller ending to A STRING OF PEARLS.
There's a lot of Miller and Shaw in this piece.
