Slim and Slam

#1 Post by penguin » Tue Apr 29, 2008 6:12 am

I'm looking to acquire some Slim and Slam. Any recommendations?

I also need some early Basie (it's a travesty - my Basie collection consists of two CD's). What should I look out for.

Thanks

Easy. You have two options: this, which is a very good single greatest hits CD, out of print but easy to find used, or this, which is a comprehensive triple CD, in print and easier to find. Both have excellent sound; the choice depends on how much money you're willing to spend and how much Slim & Slam you need in your life.

Even easier. You need this. After that, you might want to try this.
