loose marbles cd track list?

#1 Post by lipi » Tue Jan 08, 2008 11:08 pm

i bought the loose marbles cd in san diego ten days ago, and now i'm wondering what the track listing actually is. (the cd is helpfully labeled, um, "office depot", "cd-r", and "52x".)

i can place some of the vocal tracks ("four or five times", "when i get low i get high"), but am mostly lost. i checked the loose marbles myspace profile, because they said a track listing would be there, but nothin'.

anyone else have this cd and know what's on it?

Argh, I didn't know they would have different songs this time (got their CD at ULHS). Wish I had bought it.

Anyway, if you want the liner notes, I've found emailing them works well. It took them about a week to get back to me:

As of two weekends ago when they played in Seattle, they had CD slips that had the track list printed on the back. I don't have it with me, but I can post the one I have later if it's still needed.

I bought a CD in New Orleans in April and one in Seattle. Neither had four or five times on it.

Seattle CD:
1. When I get Low I get High
2. Trouble in Mind
3. Tiger Rag
4. Satan, Your Kingdom Must Come Down
5. Tell Me Your Dreams
6. What am I Living For?
7. I Found a New Baby
8. Creole Love Call
9. Some of these Days
10. Make Me a Palette on the Floor
11. My Life will be Sweeter

The one I got in New Orleans did not have a track list with it. These are my educated guesses [with google's help]:
1. When I Get Low I get High
2. Electric Chair Blues
3. Tell Me Your Dreams
4. Some of these Days
5. Trouble in Mind
6. I Get the Blues When It Rains
7. What am I Living For?
8. Tishimingo Blues
9. My Life will be Sweeter

Hope this helps.

darn'. neither of those is the cd i bought. mine has "four or five times" as track 2 and "when i get low i get high" as track 3. thanks, anyway, brenda!

it almost sounds to me like they have a collection of tracks they more or less haphazardly toss onto a cd when they have a gig. :o)
