Here's a good Savitt side on Decca from 1940. I had this on LP, but no more.

Nice version of a well known tune!

Yes, I have that CD. I suppose the sound is sort of OK, but it's just a shame it isn't better. Listen to the high-hat - it's lost in the mix. The bass line isn't clear either. I agree it's a very nice version of Tuxedo Junction.
