Favourite recording of ... 'Hit The Road Jack'

Recently I've heard two fantastic versions of this song (I didn't know either of them). The only really good swing version I know is Ray Charles' hit. Any recommendations for others?

Not trying to be a ballbuster, but HTR,Jack is not a "swing" song or a Swing song or even a song that swings. But it seems to be a song some people use to Swing dance to.
I have never heard a cover version.

there's the brazilian cover "pena estrada" by mo' horizons.
i'll carefully avoid the whole "swing" subject, but the song certainly doesn't scream "lindy hop".

The Buster Poindexter version was a "crowd pleaser" around here a few years ago.

Other than Ray Charles, the only version I have is from Barbara Morrison.

Love the Ray Charles version. I play it on Sundays here when we have lots of high school and college kids. Everybody gets up and dances to it.

A few years back, I was at the local CD store (Cheapo Records), checking out, and I noticed the guy behind in line had a huge stack of classic swing CDs. I looked up and it was Omar Dykes.

I'm suprised I'm the first to mention Barbara Morrison's version. I usually play that when someone leaves our scene. And every Fall for Rudy & Allen.
