Many of these were still around when I was a kid and had just begun collecting music.

My first Basie LP had tracks from the NJF in 1957. Super stuff.

When I was at Sam Goody's in 1970 or so, all the Verve mono issues were cut out and Goody's was dumping them for $1.99 each, IIRC. Some amazingly low price. The stuff was flying out the door.
