I heard an awesome big band version of Elvis's "all shook up" on the radio tonight. The singer was so-so, but the band was hoppin'. Anyone know the name of the group/singer so I can locate this song? It'd be great to bal to.
Thanks,
Rob

It might be any one of the 193 versions on All Music.
The Albert King version on that page (about 15 from the bottom) has some horns, which might be what you're looking for. (Not exactly up tempo, but it is somewhat bal-friendly.)
Somewhat appropriate, given that the 30th anniversary of his death was yesterday (Thursday, August 16).

Re: big band version of "all shook up"
well Brian Setzer recorded it; that would be my guess if you were listening to commerical radio. Does the station you heard it on archive their playlists?hepcat72 wrote:I heard an awesome big band version of Elvis's "all shook up" on the radio tonight.
