Which Jazz Musician are You?

#1 Post by Ryan » Tue May 01, 2007 8:46 am

I put this on Yehoodi too but thought I might as well put it here too. I created this "personality" test that tells you what Jazz Musician you most relate to. It's by no means comprehensive or meant to be taken seriously. That said, enjoy wasting 2 minutes of your life on the product of my boredom. It's only 15 questions.

Also, this test was designed more for the average Lindy Hopper, not the Swing DJ, so anyone hoping to geek out on a test with Slim Galliard, the Mills Brothers or even Jimmie Lunceford as results will be dissapointed.

I got Ellington too when I tried to take this test "objectively". Ha.

Freaky indeed, I got Bechet who is one of my favorite musicians. Not sure the description fits me, I'm too shy to be the life of the party, I don't really drink enough to get drunk and I prefer siege weapons over firearms duels.

But have you ever shown up after midnight with your dog to challenge someone to a dog fight?

bechet. excellent.

Always the life of the party. You are an exuberant savant, fiery, and often drunk beyond repair. You're singular brilliance is often overshadowed by Americans inability to treat you with the nobility you think you deserve. Maybe you should move to France. Just don't get in any gunfights along the way.

i really should move to france. (btw, ryan: "You're" -> "your" and "Americans" -> "Americans'".)

Excellent, I identify with Ella on several levels:

Boistrous and emphatic, you are the eternal optimist. Lemons? Lemonade! And some fine lemonade at that. Your friends admire you for your positive outlook, but sometimes wonder if there is more going on underneath than they know.
