There's an interview where Dizzy talks about that. How he used to listen to Roy Eldridge on broadcasts from the Savoy Ballroom and dream about playing at the Savoy. And how he later got to play with the Teddy Hill Orchestra, get recorded, and play the Savoy.

Nobody's mentioned it, but the Dutch Swing College Band did a pretty good version in 1951.
