British 'Memory Lane' magazine and website

I thought I'd post this as it might well be of interest to some people. I heard the editor, Ray Pallett, interviewed on a recent BBC radio programme about British bandleaders, and he was obviously knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Their website describes the quarterly magazine as being 'dedicated to music of the 20s, 30s, 40s, and 50s, particularly the English dance bands, swing bands and their stars and vocalists'

Nice.

Who is Mike Thomas - the guy at the bootm ofthe page? He looks like he might be alive and is the only gent with a photograph and not a painting.
