Tom Cunningham Orchestra previews besides in RealMedia?

#1 Post by kitkat » Thu Aug 31, 2006 7:33 am

I'm at work and don't have administrator privileges to install RealAlternative. There's no way I'm putting a bunch of crap from RealOne onto my computer, even if I can manage to install it.

I'm listening to Windows Media Player samples of One O'Clock Boogie, Two O'Clock Jump on Amazon, but I can't find the other album, All the Cats Join In (RealMedia samples here) on any sites that play through Windows Media Player, MP3, or something else widely available on oldish operating systems with few programs installed.

Anyone know of a link or have a server with some sound samples up?

Good material...vintage stuff.......slightly not in the groove...vocalist on Watch th Birdie is not so great. Vocal trio on Sunny Side of the Street shows what happens when a trio tries to cover something a vocal quartet originally did...missing a voice and it sounds like it.

However.....too bad Bill Ellliott wasn't doing more stuff like this on the west coast here over the past 5 years.

Good luck finding what you're needing.
Will big bands ever come back?
