Peter Appleyard presents:

I've been watching on Bravo Television a half an hour program between 7:30 am and 8:00 am. It's a Jazz program from the 1970's. The host is a musician called Peter Appleyard. This program is Monday to Thursday on Bravo.
On his show, there are different bands which are invited to play most of whom I hadn't heard before:
The Silver Leaf Jazz band (which I mentionned on another thread)
Dr McJazz Band
Jim Gallaway & the Metro Stompers
Marva Josie (singer)
There are other guests which appear who are more famous:
Earl Hines
Joe Turner
Peter Appleyard usually plays the vibraphone to accompany his guests, he's quite good. It's been great to find out about some of the more obscure bands.
