complete norman granz jam sessions?

has anyone had a listen to the
complete norman granz jam sessions? i realise they're useless for dj'ing, what with the tracks all being 15 minutes long, but still: only $25 from bmg.
and back to drooling over the complete jatp set i go.

i've had a listen to some of the LPs at the public library... back when they had listening stations...
... anyway, it's solid stuff, pretty much what you'd expect from Norman Granz and his stable of artists
rather than drool... why not just get this?

Trust me, once I got over my initial reaction, the complete JATP (which I found at the library) lost its impressiveness; i'm sure a well-organized budget 4 disc set will be plenty good...
