Anyone else here like this group? DJed em? They always have incredible bands backing em, especially on the album Sing, Sing, Sing.

Someone gave me that album. I would never DJ from it. It's one of those technically good groups, but I didn't dig 'em.

The New York voices is a marvelous group to listen it. I wouldn't think much of them for dance related events, but I use them on the radio every now and then.

They are even better live in performance. They have some ties in Cleveland and come through about once per year, so I've been fortunate to experience them in concert. Don't miss them.

They performed here back in 2001 about 2 weeks after 9/11. They did a version of "I'll Be Seeing You" that brought everyone to tears. Very emotional.

Also they did a latin recording that is great.

Highly recommended for listening, maybe not so much for dancing.

I've played some songs from that album once or tvice. Nice to use as contrast to other songs, but otherwise it's just too much harmony singing for me. I prefer songs with one vocalist.
