New Mosaic Set: Columbia Small Group Swing

This definitely looks tempting to buy... Featuring Buck Clayton, Illinois Jacquet, Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Clark Terry, Ben Webster, and Sweets Edison, among others. Not all playing at once, of course. Looks like a good portion of this has already been released on CD, but I'm not familiar with any of them.

I didn't see the duplication (only a Basie Mosaic thread), but thanks for the heads-up! I bought mine right away.

Mosaic truly is fantastic. They do a phenomenal job remastering and compiling all the music in any given boxed set. It averages out to more per CD than I normally would pay, but it is the same or better on a per-song basis. For the quality of the work they do, it is worth it.

I just got my Mosaic catalog.

This is a MUST HAVE set for both listening and dancing music.
