dunno if this is news to you... it is to me... Sony and BMG have merged.

the Columbia and RCA Victor catalogs are all owned by the same company.

this is freaky.

Interesting, I read the FAQ. It looks like the parts of BMG and Sony that deal with manufacturing and distribution are not included. The merged organization will be dealing with artists.

Is it just me or did it just get a even harder to make a living as a musician?

More reason to support the indie and small labels.

more reason for artists to not go anywhere near these companies!
