Crap, I was confused, as someone points out above. Well, this CD has other amazing' bitchin' stuff, just not the Lady Be Good soundie. Sorry! The George and Ira Gershwin set is really only good for the soundie LBG but that version just smokes. It was worth paying like $25 for one song.

don't worry about the ugly cover -- this is the real deal. fifteen swinging tracks, ten from 1940 and five from 1945, with great remastering and teriffic liner notes as you'd expect from RCA's "Bluebird" label. Cheap from Amazon's "used" shops. "Hop, Skip, and Jump" is (or should be) a lindy hop anthem. (Kevin and Carla use it in workshops.) Go go go!

I have it, and I agree it's a great album. I love the G5 stuff.

I agree - Harrison badgered me into getting the Gramercy 5 sessions and I love the CD - we talked about this a while ago, but nothing cooler than a harpischord swinging away.
